Helio Physics LLC is a Boulder Colorado based company founded in 2023. Our Founder, CEO and Chief Scientist, Dr. Larisza Krista, is an internationally renowned solar physicist and leading expert in real-time solar data analysis and advanced space weather forecasting. She holds a PhD in Physics from Trinity College Dublin, Ireland (2011), and an MSc in Astrophysics (2007). Dr. Krista's pioneering and innovative research drives our unmatched predictive intelligence.

Our Strategic Advisor, Dr. David Ciplet, has a PhD from Brown University (2015) and a MA in organizational leadership and management (2007).  Dr. Ciplet has 20+ years of experience co-founding, leading, and managing organizations and initiatives. Dr. Ciplet brings a wealth of strategic leadership and organizational development experience and guides our operational excellence.

Our Business and Operations Consultant, Amanda Loosemore, is a program management leader with more than 15 years of experience leading software implementations and driving strategic, cross-functional business initiatives. With an MBA and PMP certification, she brings a strong blend of business acumen and operational excellence to our company.

Our Engineering Advisor, Ashwini Lakshminarayan, holds a MSc in Electrical Engineering (2012) from the University of Texas at Dallas and a BSc in Instrumentation Technology. With a strong foundation in software development and engineering leadership she has built and scaled engineering teams that deliver robust, customer focused solutions. Her expert guidance is pivotal in shaping our technical direction and establishing scalable engineering practices.

Our GTM advisor, Michael MacHarg, holds an MBA from Duke University (2009). Michael is an award-winning entrepreneur, investor and advisor who has led GTM strategy for technologies spanning AI-enabled telemedicine, mobile-enabled solar energy financing and GIS mapping for improved land tenure. Michael is currently driving innovation in improved forecasting, alert systems and humanitarian response for climate amplified flood, drought and severe storms.
